2019: The project
Nice, 2019. Maxime doesn't understand why restaurateurs use cardboard straws to replace plastic ones.
He quickly realized that restaurateurs had no choice. All quality alternatives were far too expensive.
The restaurateur wants a straw that costs less than €0.02 and, above all, one that holds up!
The idea?
Bamboo paper is naturally stronger, so he developed the first bamboo paper straw!
Bingo!
Months of development later, the bamboo paper straw was born. Robust and biodegradable, it appealed to restaurateurs.
The success was immediate.
Natural Bamboo partners with over 500 restaurants, eliminating millions of cardboard straws each year.
The story doesn't end there!
In 2023, Natural Bambou was selected for SIRHA FOOD, as one of the most innovative start-ups in the sector.
In 2025, Natural Bambou becomes Les Pailles Logiques, a rebranding that is good for restaurateurs, our values do not change but our name does!
